International Student Council

International Student Council

Under the leadership of Dean Marta L. Wayne and Associate Director of International Student Support & Engagement Victoria Dolce, the International Student Council (ISC) was formed to provide a direct line for listening to concerns and sharing ideas for improving the international student experience at the University of Florida. Students from all over the world representing diverse degree programs, both graduate and undergraduate, make up the ISC. The council met for the first time in Spring 2023 and provided valuable input and suggestions to implement in future semesters for the benefit of all international students at UF.

The purpose of the UFIC ISC is to:

  1. be a voice for UF international students within Gainesville and around the state;
  2. enrich the international student experience through ongoing communication with governing bodies at UF such as the International Center, Student Government, and university administration; and
  3. promote cross-cultural understanding and exchange within the campus and Gainesville communities.

To ensure consistent and transparent decision-making and governance, read our bylaws.
