Carolyn originally moved up to Gainesville in 2012 to attend the University of Florida. The UF International Center quickly became her home away from home as she became a student assistant throughout her degree, participated in a study abroad at the University of Mannheim, and received a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies.
Her experiences at UF also covered working with the office of Multicultural and Diversity Affairs where she focused on expanding social justice education initiatives. These experiences primed her for advising and program management centered on student empowerment and creating inclusive environments at the University of Florida.
After three years as an Immigration Specialist in the Exchange Visitor Services unit, as of Spring 2019, Carolyn is the Coordinator for Exchange Student Services. In that capacity, her focus is serving exchange students, international partner schools, and campus constituents to facilitate successful participation in UF’s exchange programs.
Her favorite place to travel is along the Dalmatian Coast in Croatia.
