Transfer Out of UF

The process for transferring out of UF is:

  • Obtain admission to another US institution.
  • Work with the international students and scholars office at your new institution. They will have their own transfer-in procedures that you must complete.
    • The majority of the transfer process will be facilitated by your new institution.
  • Email your EVS advisor the UF transfer-out form and your new institution offer letter.
  • Upon approval, EVS will schedule the transfer of your SEVIS record.
  • The new institution will provide you with information on their check-in procedures.
