The University of Florida International Center (UFIC) is pleased to announce a special funding opportunity for up to three faculty members to participate in the Faculty Seminars Abroad program organized by the School for International Training (SIT).
SIT-FSA 2018 are short academic programs that allow faculty to explore a topic in depth in a particular geographical or cultural context through lectures, site visits, and connections to local academics, researchers, and other local experts.
Successful applicants will be awarded a UFIC grant to cover the full program fees for one of the 2018 SIT Faculty Seminars Abroad ($2,990). Grantees will be responsible for their airfare and other related costs.
- Rwanda in the Contemporary Global Order (Kigali, Rwanda, May 20-28, 2018)
- Public Health, Community, and Healthcare Systems in India (Delhi, Agra and Dharamsala Region, May 22--23, 2018)
- Geopolitics and Humanitarian Action in Jordan (Amman, Jordan, June 13—21, 2018)
