The Certificates of Outstanding Achievement recognize the exceptional contributions of international students to UF. Colleges consider not just academic achievements but also other ways in which these students have distinguished themselves, made a substantial impact, and contributed to UF’s international profile and engagement.

Students must be nominated by their college to be considered for this distinction.
Submission deadline: Monday, October 4, 2021.

How are recipients chosen?

Each college may submit the names of up to ten students to receive a certificate (CLAS may submit up to 15, and the College of Engineering may submit up to 20.) The criteria for choosing students from the list of eligible students provided by UFIC to be recognized with certificates is determined by each college.

When will the certificate recipients be announced?

Mid-to late October, via email.

When are certificates awarded?

Certificate recipients will be honored at the International Student Achievement Awards ceremony on Tuesday, November 16, 2021.
