Isabella Acevedo
Student Assistant
Isabella is an undergrad student pursuing a double major in Political Science and Family, Youth, and Community Sciences, with a minor in Public Service.
During the Summer of 2025, she studied abroad in Dublin, Ireland, through the UF in Ireland – Internship and Global Culture program, marking her first time in Europe. The experience proved transformative through her internship, exploration of EU politics, and immersion in Irish history and culture, which made Dublin feel like a second home. She also had the opportunity to travel around Ireland and beyond alongside new friends, and the experience quickly became one of the best decisions she has made in college.
Inspired by her time abroad, she now serves as a Study Abroad Peer Advisor and is a Student Assistant at UFIC, passionate about helping other students find their perfect program.
