Valeria Ortega

Web Designer I

Valeria Ortega is the Web Designer at the University of Florida International Center (UFIC). She is responsible for enhancing, updating, and maintaining UFIC’s digital presence while supporting campus internationalization through strategic web design and digital communications.

In addition to managing website development projects, Valeria contributes to the creation of UFIC’s weekly newsletter. She began at UFIC as a part-time student assistant in 2022 and quickly grew into a key role within the organization through her creativity, technical expertise, and commitment to UFIC’s mission.

Originally from Valencia, Venezuela, Valeria is a proud Gator alumna. She earned her B.A. in Journalism from the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications in 2023 and is pursuing her master's degree in web design at UF CJC.
