UFIC Staff Complete Substance Education and Narcan Training

UF International Center (UFIC) staff recently participated in The SENT (Substance Education and Narcan Training) workshop offered at the University of Florida by the Gator Emergency Medical Response Unit (GEMRU).

The training provided staff with important knowledge on recognizing signs of drug overdoses and alcohol poisoning, administering Narcan (naloxone), and understanding UF’s Medical Amnesty Policy. Through this workshop, UFIC staff gained valuable skills and resources to better support the safety and well-being of the Global Gators community.
