Students Create Podcast Through VE

In 2026, UF professors Dr. Pablo Lamino and Dr. Jamie Loizzo launched an exciting new virtual exchange (VE) project with Universidad Zamorano in Honduras. Through the course “Agricultural Media Production,” UF students had the opportunity to interview Zamorano professors and create a podcast for the project “Field y Futuro.” This project is focused on bilingual science communication and making scientists’ expertise more accessible to the general public.

To set up this exchange, Drs. Lamino and Loizzo visited Universidad Zamorano in person in early 2026. Read more about their visit and the goals of their project in this publication by Zamorano Noticias (written in Spanish).
