| Title: | The Value(s) of Sustainability: Exploring Priorities and Bridging Differences in the Pursuit of Campus and Community Resilience |
|---|---|
| Project Description: | This project connected students from the University of Florida Program for Sustainability and the Built Environment with Saxion University in Eberswalde, Netherlands. The project asked students to engage and explore forms of tangible and intangible cultural heritage in both their pre-collegiate home communities and their respective college campuses and communities. The students also considered how values create priorities in how we focus our attention, intention, and action regarding issues of sustainability. They connected different ways we frame these values, evaluated their risks and rewards, and proposed management responses to better bridge differences and reduce the risks of negative outcomes for communities. |
