| Title: | Beyond Borders: Trade, Ethics, and the Latin American Marketplace |
|---|---|
| Project Description: | This virtual exchange project brings together students from the University of Florida and the Business Strategies to Enter Latin America course within the Minor in Doing Business in Latin America of UCU to explore the intersection of ethics and culture in global business. Through a case study focused on Latin America, participants will analyze real-world dilemmas that arise when cultural differences create ethical challenges for companies seeking international expansion. By working collaboratively across borders, students will develop a deeper understanding of how cultural context shapes business decisions, identify barriers that multinational firms encounter, and discuss strategies to bridge ethical and cultural gaps. The project aims to enhance intercultural competence, critical thinking, and ethical awareness in future global leaders. |
