Panel Information: Participants will learn about Peace Corps service and benefits of serving. This event will feature three female panelists who served in various sectors and countries. They will share the importance of gender empowerment and their experiences as women living and working abroad with the Peace Corps. 

What is Peace Corps?

The U.S. Peace Corps is a 27-month service opportunity that is funded and organized through the U.S. government. Volunteers serve in roughly 60 countries around the world in sectors including environment, agriculture, education, health, youth development, and community economic development. Volunteers receive monetary compensation for their service in addition to other benefits including priority federal hiring and possible financial assistance with graduate-level education.
