To maintain the integrity and validity of these global scientific endeavors, it is crucial to protect intellectual property, ensure ethical compliance, and safeguard personal and national interests. The Office for Global Research Engagement has prepared informational videos to introduce you to international research practices. For guidance on research security, UF faculty, staff, and students should contact UF Research Integrity, Security and Compliance (UF RISC), which serves as the central point of contact within UF's core offices for these matters.
UF Research Integrity, Security & Compliance (RISC) provides support to UF’s research community to ensure regulatory and institutional compliance and promote the highest ethical standards in research. The University of Florida conducts research in compliance with established federal, state and local rules, regulations, policies and procedures. RISC develops and implements research compliance programs and coordinates activities with various compliance offices and committees. RISC is also responsible for reviewing and facilitating the investigation of research misconduct or other research integrity deviations.
