Supporting Global Learning for Faculty, Staff, and Students

The Office of Global Learning (OGL) in the University of Florida International Center supports comprehensive campus internationalization through student, faculty and staff initiatives. OGL helps students structure and enhance their global learning experience through campus engagement. OGL also provides professional development programs and funding to help faculty internationalize their teaching in a variety of innovative ways. OGL facilitates COIL for Staff, a virtual exchange program to help staff develop intercultural and professional skills by exchanging ideas with colleagues abroad.

The Office of Global Learning is committed to promoting and assessing the development of global competencies for all UF students through coursework and campus engagement. We work side-by-side with faculty on campus internationalization initiatives, leveraging the following strategies:

Connect with campus and community resources to improve teaching

Engage innovative teaching approaches using technology

Inspire students to internationalize their UF experience inside and outside the classroom

Collaborate with international partners and teach without borders
