Advising Services
Our team of Study Abroad Advisors is here to help you through every step of your study abroad journey. From your initial appointment where you ask us, “Where can I go?” to visiting with us after you’ve returned, we want to hear it all. Our advising appointments are typically 30 minutes and are offered both in-person and virtually. During appointments we can discuss topics such as:
- Study Abroad options for all program types (Sponsored, Exchange, Non-UF)
- The academic, personal, and professional benefits of study abroad
- Country-specific information, such as academic structure and cultural norms
- Physical health, mental health, or disability-related concerns
- Study abroad scholarship opportunities and basic financial aid policies
- Re-entry advising to help you reacclimate and reflect post-program
