Rafael Toste de Castro

Marketing and Communications Intern

Rafael Toste de Castro is a fourth-year international student from São Paulo, Brazil, pursuing dual bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Marketing at the University of Florida, along with a combined Master of Science in Marketing degree.

As a Marketing & Communications Intern at the UF International Center, Rafael supports the International Scholars Program and the Office of Global Learning through marketing, communications, and student and faculty outreach. He creates social media content, newsletters, promotional materials, and event communications, and helps develop campaigns that highlight global learning opportunities and increase student engagement. He enjoys using marketing and research to communicate programs in creative and accessible ways and connect students and faculty with opportunities for global engagement at UF.

Outside of work and academics, Rafael enjoys playing soccer and volleyball, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
