UF Application Process

Once your home institution nominates you for the exchange program, you will receive access to the UF International Center’s online application platform. This platform is called the ISSS Portal.

You will be required to complete required readings, upload certain documents (see below), and complete questionnaires as part of the application process. This information is necessary for appropriate US visa status (J-1 Status) and for UF student record set up.

In the ISSS Portal, you will see the exchange application in a record titled “New Exchange Student Request”. Please click through the application and review all the instructions. Upon submission of the application, if materials are missing or insufficient, students will be contacted to request revised documents and re-submit in the online platform.
