Title: Solution-Focused Brief Counseling
Project Description: UF students collaborated with peers at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) to analyze a counseling case study and designed an intervention using solution-focused brief counseling techniques. Students from both universities worked in small groups to apply the knowledge they learned through recorded lectures and readings.
Learning Outcomes:
  1. Students will expand their international communicaton skills by working on cross-cultural teams.
  2. Students will understand the utility of brief solution-focused counseling techniques to support clients/students in community agencies and schools.
  3. Students will apply their knowledge and skills by analyzing a case study and creating a case that would benefit from solution-focused brief counseling techniques.
