CAME proudly presents the release of 10,000 Memories: A Lived Partition, a volume based on the 1947 Partition Archive. This collection of crowdsourced stories documents the first and largest pan-South Asian oral history survey ever conducted. Project Founder and Director Dr. Guneeta Singh Bhalla will discuss the process of empowering people to record and share personal narratives of one of the largest mass migrations of the 20th century.
A Q&A session and responses from invited discussants will be followed by a meet and greet with the Dr. Singh Bhalla. Light refreshments will be served.
This event is free and open to the public. Space is limited, so please reserve your tickets by April 7.
