Championing Global Citizenship: Join us for International Education Week (IEW), November 18-22, 2024!

The University of Florida is excited to celebrate International Education Week

(IEW) from November 18-22, 2024. IEW is a joint annual initiative of the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and the U.S. Department of Education. This week is dedicated to expanding horizons, fostering connections, and building mutual understanding between people in the United States and countries around the globe. IEW provides a unique opportunity to highlight the transformative benefits of international education and cultural exchange.

The UF International Center (UFIC) warmly invites participation from all campus communities, including staff, students, faculty, alumni, and local organizations. Whether by hosting events within your departments or sharing your international achievements, we encourage you to engage with IEW in ways that best suit your interests and your schedule.

Our mission at UFIC is to empower all members of the UF community to become global citizens, equipped with the skills and resources to contribute positively and sustainably to local and global communities.

If you have any questions or need assistance promoting your IEW events, please reach out to Mabel Cardec at mcardec@ufic.ufl.edu or 352-273-1515.
