Maria Mayora was born and raised in Venezuela and moved to Miami, Florida, at the age of 15. Her passion for international issues began in Venezuela and grew as she embraced the multicultural environment of Miami. Inspired by the global perspectives around her, she pursued a B.A. in International Studies at the University of Florida, graduating in May 2024. Before becoming the Administrative Assistant at the International Center, Maria worked as a Student Assistant at the same institution. In her current role, she is excited to help students from different countries navigate the complexities of the F-1 visa process and achieve their academic goals. In her free time, Maria enjoys painting and practicing yoga, with hopes of sharing her artwork in the future.
