Anthony Pereira is the director of Kimberly Green Latin American and Caribbean Center at Florida International University. He was previously a professor at King's College London, where he founded the Brazil Institute and collaborated in the development of a master's program in global affairs and joint PhD program in international relations with the Institute of International Relations at the University of São Paulo. He has been a Fulbright and Fulbright-Hays fellow and received grants from the British Academy, the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation and the Organization of American States, among others.
