Curious about a career as a U.S. diplomat? The Bob Graham Center invites UF students to join us for the next ‘Careers in Public Service’ lunch on Thursday, Oct. 19, 2023 at noon in the Pugh Hall O’Neill Reading Room. Our speaker will be fan-favorite Dennis K. Hays, former US ambassador to Suriname and a 1976 UF graduate. Hays also earned an MPA from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard. Expect a lively Q&A exchange with Ambassador Hays as he shares stories about his career in the foreign service. He'll also give tips and advice about the best internships, fellowships, job opportunities, and graduate programs that will set you up for success in the field of public service.
