Dean Marta Wayne welcomed the newest cohort of faculty and staff to the UF Virtual Exchange (VE) Training last month, commenting on the importance of their VE engagement to expand the accessibility of international education opportunities at UF. This semester, UF faculty from the following colleges are participating in this 5-week professional development program: the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences, the College of Education, the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering, and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Their VE partners are located in the following countries: Brazil, Egypt, Germany, Kenya, South Africa, South Korea, Taiwan, and the United Kingdom. At the end of the program, participants will present their VE project plans, which will be used to internationalize their courses in the 2025-2026 school year.
