Lance Richardson will give a reading from his upcoming book, True Nature: The Life of Peter Matthiessen, which explores the incredible life of Matthiessen—novelist, explorer, environmentalist, and co-founder of The Paris Review. This event offers students and aspiring writers a rare opportunity to hear a live reading, ask questions about the creative process, and learn about the intersections of literature, nature, and exploration.

This is a great chance to hear directly from a published author about the creative process, ask questions, and learn more about how writing and nature intersect in Matthiessen’s work.

If you’re interested in writing, literature, nature, or just hearing an inspiring story, this event is for you!
