Dr. Fiona McLaughlin (she/her) Professor of Linguistics & African Languages, been awarded a Spring 2022 Fulbright research scholar award for Algeria to work on her project "Vernacular Literacies in Algeria".
Fiona McLaughlin is a faculty member in the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures and the Department of Linguistics. She is an affiliate faculty member of the Center for African Studies and the Center for Global Islamic Studies, and a research affiliate of the Sahel Research Group.
