Each entrant may submit up to two (2) digital photos in only one chosen category. All photographs must have been taken during Summer 2019, Fall 2019, Spring 2020, or Summer 2020. Digital images must be uploaded using the online submission form provided at https://internationalcenter.ufl.edu/

Unedited photos highly encouraged, but minimally edited photos will be accepted. E-mail submissions or prints will not be accepted. Photos displaying the use of alcohol, cigarettes, drugs or any inappropriate content or behavior will be disqualified.

All photographs must portray the theme "Global Culture". Inspiration may come from landscapes and cityscapes that impressed you, daily life scenes with unique perspectives, exciting cultural activities, a showcase of your major/discipline abroad, newsworthy matters you observed firsthand, moments that changed your worldview or your experiences leaving a positive mark in service, teaching or learning. Showing your Global Gator spirit is always a plus, so remember to wear the UF logo, orange and blue or the gator emblem!

Judges will look at technical merit, composition, and that photo conveys a "Global Culture" message.

The size of your digital photos must be at least 1500 x 1200 pixels, at a minimum of 150 DPI (to facilitate enlargements for exhibits), and no more than 20mb.  Entries not meeting these requirements will be disqualified. DPI can be modified using InDesign, Photoshop or using http://convert.town/image-dpi or similar websites.

Submission period opens August 10, 2020. All entries must be received electronically no later than October 16, 2020 at 12 midnight. Winners will be notified via email by November 4^th, 2020.

NEW THIS YEAR! Judges will award a 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd place in each of the three categories. All winners will receive a plaque award displaying their photo. No cash prizes will be awarded. UFIC reserves the right to modify the contest awards in accordance to UF policies and regulations.
