About Mauricio Chavarria
Mauricio brings a blend of private-sector and social impact experience to the design and management of sustainability initiatives that positively transform lives. For over 20 years of his career, he has worked with multinational companies across Latin America creating regional and global sustainability partnerships. He is passionate about mobilizing resources toward clean water access for high need communities and currently leads one of Latin America’s most ambitious clean water programs. In his collaboration with GETF, he championed the creation of a new signature water community project for Coca-Cola Latin America (Aliados por el Agua), to facilitate water access and hygiene to two million people by 2030 through inclusive and collective action. He has supported a high-impact portfolio of 112 projects across 19 Latin American countries for this effort. Mauricio has an MBA and executive training in Global Management, Public Relations, and Social Impact Design and is Spanish and English fluent.
