To expand global experiences on campus, International Scholars must attend at least four international and/or interculturally focused events endorsed by the International Scholars Program. These can be lectures or speaker series focused on international careers or global challenges, community-based events such as Harn Museum Night: Art without Borders, or events held by identity or global issue-based organizations at UF!
For ideas on where to find additional international or global events outside the International Center, check out the links below! While this is not an exhaustive list of international events and ways to get involved at UF, it is a good starting point for your Campus Life Engagement!

SAPA (Study Abroad Peer Advisors)
-
Pay it forward! Do you want to help students like yourself get started with their study abroad journey? Join the Study Abroad Peer Advisors! The Study Abroad Peer Advisor (SAPA) organization is a group of students who completed a study abroad program and are now dedicated to sharing their experiences with other students. The SAPAs’ goal is to promote the study abroad experience through engaging with fellow students and answering any questions they may have about UF programs or the application process. They assist students interested in learning more about UF’s study abroad opportunities by matching them with students who have studied on similar programs/locations, or who share similar academic interests. To be a SAPA, a student must have previously studied abroad and complete an online application and in-person interview.
