Kaira M. Cabañas (Art History) participated, along with scholars Luiz Camillo Osorio and Luis Peréz-Oramas, in an online "roundtable" discussion celebrating the work and legacy of Brazilian artist, inventor, and designer Abraham Palatnik, who continually explored visual rhythms as a way of expanding what is perceptible through visual art. Palatnik died from Covid-19 in Rio de Janeiro on May 9, 2020. He was ninety-two years old. To view the homage paid to this singular artist, please visit this link.
