  • Dr. David Stringer, Associate Professor at Indiana University, researches language acquisition, bilingualism, and environmental linguistics. His recent work focuses on how ecological knowledge is preserved in endangered languages amidst global mass extinction.
  • Dr. Marianne Ignace, Professor at Simon Fraser University, directs SFU’s Indigenous Languages Program. She is completing annotated volumes of narratives in X̱aad Kil and Secwepemctsin, exploring the intricate connection between language, environmental knowledge, and cultural norms.
