Ajna is an international student from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Before coming to UF, she attended an international boarding school, an experience that sparked her passion for global perspectives in education and tech.
She is currently in her junior year studying Computer Engineering. She’s been with UFIC since January 2025 and also serves as an undergraduate research assistant and a peer advisor for the College of Engineering.
Outside of academics, she’s involved with the Balkan Student Association as the Creative Director. It’s an excellent way for her to connect with peers who share a similar cultural background and to feel at home, even though she is far away.
