The UF International Center recently hosted three listening sessions, providing faculty leading various Study Abroad programs the opportunity to share their experiences, insights, and ideas. These sessions allowed faculty to offer valuable feedback aimed at enhancing Study Abroad programs, gaining clarity on programmatic reviews and contract processes, and collaborating with fellow faculty members and the UFIC team.
These Listening Sessions also provided an opportunity for UFIC to thank faculty for dedicating their time and for their continued engagement. These sessions were emblematic of UFIC’s commitment to partnership, transparency, and consistency. The challenges experienced by many this year were acknowledged with a commitment to improving and an openness to ongoing feedback.
Members of the Study Abroad Services team were recognized for their outstanding work in creating safeguards for the future, with many attendees expressing gratitude for their efforts in helping develop a roadmap for policies as well as excellent problem solving and crisis management. Dean Marta Wayne carefully took notes and welcomed the suggestions, which will be used to guide improvements moving forward.
