GAINESVILLE 05/09/2025 – The University of Florida is ranked No. 3 in the top large schools’ category among Peace Corps’ 2025 Top Volunteer-Producing Colleges and Universities list*. There are currently 34 volunteers from the University of Florida serving in 21 countries around the world, including Cambodia, Dominican Republic, Fiji, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Indonesia, Kenya, Kosovo, Mexico, Morocco, Nepal, North Macedonia, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Senegal, Thailand, Uganda, and Vanuatu.

Wayne, Dean of the UF International Center. “This recognition highlights our students’ deep commitment to global service and cross-cultural engagement. With more than 1,390 Gators having served since 1961, UF’s long-standing partnership with the Peace Corps reflects our core mission to prepare globally minded leaders who are ready to make a difference around the world.”

Kudos to our departing Peace Corps Recruiter, Danielle Arnwine, for her hard work to get UF back into the Top Producers category! Dani joined the UFIC team in January 2023 as the UF Campus Peace Corps Recruiter. She joined the Peace Corps as a Secondary English teacher serving in Malawi from 2018-2019. As Florida’s campus recruiter, she worked to promote Peace Corps through events and activities while serving as a resource for students throughout their application process.
