In the past weeks, UF has been carefully monitoring the situation regarding the spread of coronavirus infections in China. On 31 January 2020, UF administration suspended all university-related travel for employees or students to China. Please see the updates and guidance on the disease that the university has provided on the UF homepage at https://news.ufl.edu/2020/02/coronavirus/
In this context and after careful consideration and consultation, and with the health and safety of our students being always our first priority, the UF International Center has made the decision to cancel all study abroad programs in mainland China for this coming summer 2020. This includes faculty-led and exchange programs, as well as provider and direct-enroll programs. All students have been notified regarding this decision, and we will certainly do our best to find alternative programs for them.
