Arley brings a rich education and media and publishing background to his Study Abroad Program Coordinator role. With extensive experience managing academic programs and coaching diverse populations, Arley is dedicated to creating inclusive and empowering environments where students thrive personally, academically, and professionally.

Originally from Cuba, Arley holds a Bachelor’s and master’s degree in communication sciences from Universidad Central Marta Abreu de Las Villas (UCLV) and Universidad de Guadalajara (UDG), respectively. His journey through international education and multilingual learning—fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, with working knowledge of French and Italian—fuels his commitment to guiding students through transformative global experiences.

Before joining UFIC, Arley worked across various educational institutions, supporting learners through academic advising, career coaching, curricular development, and program management. He thrives on helping students and faculty navigate transitions, connect with resources, and achieve their goals through coaching that blends motivational leadership with data-informed strategies.

Outside work, Arley enjoys traveling, hiking, working out, art, and exploring new cultures—often through museums, karaoke nights, dance sessions, or getting lost in a good film or book, as well as manhua and anime. Arley brings energy, empathy, and a deep belief in the power of intercultural experiences.
