A Knoxville native, Cristy graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in May 2020 with a BA in Creative Writing. Hoping to put her French minor to use, she taught English in France for 2 years at K-12 and undergraduate levels. During this time, she was able to experience different cultures, overcome challenges, create lifelong friendships, and explore new places. This is her first job on the U.S. side of international education, but she is excited to support students pursuing worthwhile opportunities abroad.
Her interests include traveling, reading, eating, and spending time with family.
