Rosa Rey García is the Global Learning Coordinator at the University of Florida International Center. She holds a B.A. in Pedagogy and an M.Ed. in Student Personnel in Higher Education from the University of Florida. Having experienced firsthand how studying and working abroad transformed her life, she is passionate about helping students gain similar benefits through meaningful global learning opportunities.

Originally from Spain, Rosa began her international journey in the UK and later spent a year in Ireland, where she studied and worked as an au pair. Seeking to remain connected to the international community, she returned to Spain to work as a Spanish teacher and Learning Coordinator.

In 2021, Rosa moved to Gainesville, Florida. Before joining the International Center in 2025, she worked at the UF Admissions Office and as a Program Support Specialist at Santa Fe College, where she supported recruitment and outreach initiatives.

In her free time, Rosa enjoys reading, hiking, and exploring the natural areas around Gainesville. She also loves traveling and discovering new places and cultures whenever she gets the chance.
