Thursday, October 9, 2025 - 2:00pm to 3:00pm
Pugh Hall, O'Neill Reading Room

Please join the Bob Graham Center for another installment in our Careers in Public Service series, Thursday, October 9, from 2-3 pm in Pugh Hall. Our featured speaker is the Honorable Dennis K. Hays, former U.S. ambassador to Suriname and a 1976 graduate of the University of Florida. Hays also earned his MPA from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

You will have the chance to speak directly with Ambassador Hays about his experience with the Foreign Service and learn about internships, fellowships, job opportunities, and graduate programs in the field of public service. International Studies majors and students involved in the UF International Center are encouraged to attend and learn firsthand what the career of an ambassador entails, develop ideas for their professional journey, and how to internationalize their degree!

Light refreshments are provided for those who register in advance.
