Vida Springs Church

with Center alumna Dr. Bertrhude Albert (P4H Global)

You’re invited to an unforgettable event — a watch party and conversation centered on the powerful documentary “The Heroes of the Massacre River”. Directed by Samuel Dameus, this groundbreaking film captures one of the most extraordinary moments in modern Haitian history: the building of the Wanament Canal.

This is a movement born not from government orders or foreign aid, but from the collective will of the Haitian people. “The Heroes of the Massacre River” is a story about the Haitian people, told by the Haitian people.

During the event, Dr. Bertrhude Albert, featured in the film and one of the leading voices for Haiti’s transformation, will lead an intimate and powerful conversation on what this movement means for our homeland, for the diaspora, and for the future we are determined to build together. At most watch parties, she will be joined by the visionary director, Samuel Dameus, whose lens captured this defining moment in Haitian history.

NOTE: This is a free event, but seating is limited at each stop on the tour. Attendees with tickets will receive priority entry, and tickets will be checked at the door. Please register early to secure your spot. Locations that do not meet the minimum participation requirement may be subject to cancellation.
