The College of Design, Construction, and Planning (DCP) will launch a newly developed course in Fall 2025 titled "Seeing Eurasia: Perceptions and Imaginations.  Led by Dr. Hui Zou from the School of Architecture, the course features a series of guest lectures by international scholars from countries such as Japan, South Korea, and Canada.

This 3-credit seminar will offer students an opportunity to explore how cultural identities are imagined and expressed across East Asia and Europe through the lenses of architecture, literature, philosophy, and the arts.

The Emerging Pathogens Institute (UF EPI) has released a new video spotlighting international research led by Dr. Arie Havelaar in collaboration with Haramaya University and UF Ph.D. students Amanda Ojeda and Ibsa Ahmed. Their study focuses on Campylobacter, a genus of bacteria responsible for roughly 200 million cases of diarrhea globally each year.

The University of Florida International Center (UFIC) was honored to host Shri Ramesh Babu Lakshmanan, Consul General of India in Atlanta, during his official visit to campus on Friday, June 13. As part of a full-day agenda, Shri Lakshmanan met with UF leadership and faculty from across disciplines to explore opportunities for collaboration.

The University of Florida International Center (UFIC) is pleased to announce the appointment of John J. Mulligan as Interim Director of the Study Abroad Program, effective immediately.

In lieu of reopening the search for a permanent director this spring, UFIC leadership has named Mulligan to serve in a long-term interim capacity, providing strategic continuity and advancing departmental goals.
