In the name of the French Republic, the Consul General of France Clément Leclerc, presented Mr. Donald Rothwell, former Professor at the University of Florida, with the Legion of Honor medal. As a Staff Sergeant in the 36th Air Service Squadron of the Army of the United States, Mr. Donald Rothwell fought alongside France during World War II.
For his service, he received the insignias of “Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur” (Knight in the Legion of Honor”) on May 15th, 2018.
