UF Hosted the Florida Association of International Educators Conference

On February 20-21, FAIE held its 2020 Annual Conference at the UF Reitz Union and international educational exchange advances and learning took place amongst hundreds of participants. Professor John Freeman's Greek Trip Published in Local Magazine

John Freeman, Associate Professor of Journalism, was published in an issue of Our Town Magazine for his trip to Alonnisos, Greece. The theme of the magazine was about “going for it” in 2020, and not putting things off. Along with his wife, he visited former Gainesville friends that had moved to Greece, and also had the opportunity to visit different places in this incredible destination.

The Levin College of Law Welcomes Joshua Alter Joining their International Efforts

Joshua Alter is the new Director of Non-JD Programs at the Levin College of Law. Josh has a particular focus on international students within the college and has already reinvigorated their recruitment of international students. He is also serving as an advisor to all of the college's international students.

In addition, Josh has joined UFIC's International Council and has been able to participate in behalf of the Levin College. Most recently in Lima, he met with approximately a dozen UF Levin tax alumni (pictured above) and had great visits with Fulbright in Quito and Lima during the trip.
