Joshua Alter is the new Director of Non-JD Programs at the Levin College of Law. Josh has a particular focus on international students within the college and has already reinvigorated their recruitment of international students. He is also serving as an advisor to all of the college's international students.

In addition, Josh has joined UFIC's International Council and has been able to participate in behalf of the Levin College. Most recently in Lima, he met with approximately a dozen UF Levin tax alumni (pictured above) and had great visits with Fulbright in Quito and Lima during the trip.

The Florida & Puerto Rico Digital Newspaper Project (FPRDNP) has officially come to an end. A collaborative $923,000 project between the University of Florida (UF) George A. Smathers Libraries and the University of Puerto Rico-Rio Piedras (UPR-RP) library system, the FPRDNP has provided access to hundreds of digitized pages of historic newspapers from Florida and Puerto Rico that were previously found only on microfilm.

The UF International Center is pleased to announce the start of its Global Learning Institute (GLI) and congratulates all 2020 Awardees!

The Global Learning Institute gathers a select cohort of faculty members to engage in a semester-long curriculum internationalization program. Institute participants attend eight workshops and receive information on tools, resources, and techniques to make their on-campus courses more global.
