Join the Bob Graham Center – home of the International Studies major – for the next in our series of “Careers in International Public Service” featuring three UF alumni living and working abroad – Vasilios Kosmakos, Hunter Hales, and Elizabeth Pantaleon. Vasilios double majored in Sustainability Studies and International Studies, and is currently a Peace Corps trainee serving in Paraguay. Hunter, an International Studies and French and Francophone Studies double major, moved to Belize to work as a proposal development officer in the Government of Belize’s Climate Finance Unit. While she continues to work toward accessing finance to meet the country’s climate priorities, she is exploring post-graduate opportunities. Elizabeth, now a US foreign service officer in Guatemala City, earned dual degrees in International Studies and Public Relations. She has been a Fulbright assistant teaching English in the West Bank/Palestinian Territories, and is a graduate of Georgetown’s Foreign Service master’s program. These panelists will share a bit about their career trajectories and the day-to-day experiences of living and working abroad. They will also provide tips on how to use your time at UF and the Bob Graham Center to get positioned for involvement in international public service.
