Neptune Frost (2021), Saul Williams' Afro-futuristic, sci-fi punk musical set in an alternate Burundi, follows a group of escaped coltan miners who form an anti-colonialist computer hacker collective. Join us for this gorgeous, romantic and imaginative film!

Panel discussion and refreshments to follow the film, then at 8:30 we welcome History Dog, a special avant-garde musical performance to celebrate the event!

This next installment in the Migration in Film series is being hosted in conjunction with CAME and the School of Art and Art History's Afrofuturism Week, celebrating radical imagining and Black diasporic creative expression through futurist thought, surrealism and fantasy. Stay tuned for more exciting Afrofuturism Week events!
