Dr. Mavian lab focuses on the ecology of (re)emerging of climate amplified pathogens, adapted to humans or with a zoonotic potential. As part of her international work, she established collaborations with colleagues in Ghana and South Africa. She will talk about her experience visiting and working in their labs focusing on projects that explore the molecular epidemiology of infectious diseases circulating in Ghana and South Africa.
