Center Director Dr. Ilaria Capua (she/her) was awarded the Barcelona Hypatia European Science Prize on June 2nd. The prize is awarded by the Barcelona City Council in collaboration with Academia Europaea. This award recognizes an outstanding researcher who has worked at the highest international level, with a strong influence on various fields of knowledge and a positive impact on society.
