The College of Nursing welcomed Dr. Rodrigo Jensen, an associate professor at the University of São Paulo’s School of Nursing, for a weeklong visit beginning Oct. 20.
Dr. Jensen, a longtime collaborator with Tamara Macieira, focuses his research on nursing informatics and the development of artificial intelligence–backed educational tools designed to prepare the next generation of nurses in Brazil. His visit supports the college’s commitment to advancing international collaboration and innovation in nursing education and research.
An obstetric nurse by training, Dr. Jensen holds a Ph.D. in health sciences from the State University of Campinas and serves as coordinator of the Research Ethics Committee at the University of São Paulo’s School of Nursing. He also leads the Study and Research Group on Information Technology in Nursing Work Processes and serves in advisory roles with the Brazilian Nursing Association and the Regional Nursing Council of São Paulo.
Dr. Jensen’s visit builds on the active memorandum of understanding between the college and the University of São Paulo College of Nursing, further strengthening global engagement and shared learning in digital health and nursing education.
