For the third year, UF was one of the few U.S. institutions selected to 
participate in the program “Expanding and Embedding COIL Virtual Exchange at Honduran and Central American Universities,” a regional partnership initiative supported by the United States Embassy in Tegucigalpa. Two UF faculty were selected to participate in the program: Dr. Paula Golombek, Clinical Professor in the Department of Linguistics, and Dr. Antonio Sajid López, Associate Instructional Professor in the Department of Spanish & Portuguese Studies. When Mexican multimedia artist Eduardo Abaroa arrives on campus for the first time Aug. 2, the first thing he’s doing is paperwork. Lots of it.
